RescueNet is an Emergency Relief, rapid response unit, deploying trained volunteer workers offering medical, light search and rescue, trauma counselling, disaster childcare, logistical and distribution assistance, etc. into disaster areas. We aim to be there within 48 hours after the event took place.

From October 10 – 23, 2010 RescueNet Europe will organise another RescueNet training course. In this course the participants will be exposed to the various fields of emergency relief work, including First Response Medicine, Search and Rescue, Fire Suppression, Disaster Psychology, Radio Communications, Disaster Childcare, Field Awareness, etc.
